BOPA

That's Book (or rather blog) of positive aspects for those of you that don't know. I have been meaning to post for a few days now, but the inspiration hasn't been there yet. Something is brewing, though. In the meantime, here's a BOPA for today.

- I am thankful that I still have my patience. I am on Day 3 of 16 without my husband. Last time he left for a long period of time, I didn't fare so well. This time is different I think because Piper is older. I am also impressed that I am not cranky in the morning. Mike usually gets up with her first thing because he is awake anyway. Now it's all up to me to get up at 5:30 or 6 when I hear the mamamamama or dadadadadada or now oof oof oof oof (that's for the dogs).

- I am thankful for the discussion about jewelry photography in my metal clay group. I have been intending to take pictures of my new earrings for some time now. I have been letting perfection prevent me from doing it. I have excuses about my camera, my display, my lighting, yadayadayada. One artist posted their photos their were submitting to a magazine for publication (they were amazing) and then posted a picture of how they set it up. Her setup wasn't much different than mine. I think I will do some tomorrow.

- I am thankful that my next door neighbor may work as a babysitter. I have yet to find one because I just haven't had to. The time has come and I soon remembered that my neighbors has a daughter. She's only 12, but her parents are next door and they run a day care for a living so I think it will be a good situation.

- I am thankful for the warm weather coming this weekend. It's been a breezy bordering on windy spring so the warm days are still chilly. We had 4" of snow on Tuesday but we are supposed to be up to 74 on Monday (welcome to Montana). I am looking forward to getting out with Piper more and the warm weather definitely helps that.

- I am thankful for EFT. It seems too easy to really work, but I have quit a couple of bad habits and formed some new ones without any effort, struggle, or even conscious thought. How can you argue with that? There really is something to it and I am thankful it has come into my life.

- I am thankful for the time after Piper goes to bed. Otherwise, I wouldn't be typing now.
